Taco Soup Recipe
Not learning from you, but I like to eat in restaurants. The problem is that my funds do not support at all times, as even a simple meal out in a restaurant can the value of an arm and a leg. The good news is that some have to miss on your favorite foods, because you are on a limited finances can use a "recipe for imitation" to their favorite restaurant dishes at home.
These recipes are reverse engineered to make a dish with flavor similar to the one you have in the restaurant. The difference is that as a substitute for paying the big ticket price for a meal in a restaurant, simply choose ingredients in the supermarket and make yourself at a fraction of the cost. Not only that, however, so you spare yourself, too, which is at all times excellent thing!
As an example, here is a recipe I have chicken imitation cheese Tortilla Soup Applebee.
2 tsp. contemporary garlic
1 cup yellow onion
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
4 cups chicken broth
1.4 cup chopped green pepper
1 can of pureed tomatoes (15 oz.)
1 tbsp. jalapeсo finely chopped pepper (optional)
1 tsp. sugar
1.2 tsp. hot sauce (optional)
1 tsp. chile powder (not required)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 / 2 tsp. salt
1/four tsp. pepper
4 Tbsp. flour
1 / 2 cup water
1 pound cooked chicken, cubed or pulled
1 cup heavy cream
1/four no sour cream Cup
8 ounces processed cheese, 1-inch cubes
10 (6 inches) or yellow corn tortillas, 1/four-inch strips, fried
Chopped cilantro Contemporary (optionally available)
Sautй oil, garlic and onion in skillet until soft giant. Add the vegetable oil, inventory gallo, green peppers, tomatoes, peppers jalapeсo, salt, pepper, sugar, chile powder, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Boil low, then lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cut tortillas into strips and fry in 1/4-inch oil or spray with oil and bake in 400єF (while soup is cooking). Sprinkle with salt if desired. Fully flour and water, then stir in the soup. Deliver to a simmer, then simmer 5 minutes. Add rooster and simmer 5 minutes. Add sour cream and cheese (to taste). The soup should be served in 165єF. After serving soup, pile tortilla strips into a "haystack" in the main form of soup. Optionally available: garnish with fresh chopped cilantro. 6-8 servings.
This recipe is delicious and it's certainly nice for cold winter nights, and the soup is always a warm, filling meal. One of the many great themes of this recipe is that it is enough to feed a whole family and is very cost low to make. Even if you only have one or [two] people to eat the leftovers can be simply saved and feed you for a few days. It is a great way to flagship restaurant to get soup in a food budget at home.
